The Alexander Technique and Qigong
Do you stand a lot while practicing, rehearsing or during performances? How about sitting for hours?
Integrating the mind-body wisdom of the Alexander Technique with the energetic and spiritual dimensions of Qigong creates a powerful approach to awaken our full human potential on multiple levels.
The Alexander Technique
Mind-body unity is at the core of the Alexander Technique. The AT has a strong focus on developing heightened self-awareness and conscious choice over habitual patterns of perception, tension and patterns of movement. In short, the Alexander Technique helps you become aware of how you do what you do.
Qigong
Qigong involves breathing techniques and energy exercises to strengthen the body, increase flexibility, cultivate internal energy, and develop emotional resilience and spiritual grounding.
This perfect blend of the Alexander Technique and Qigong creates a powerful synergy for cultivating heightened mind-body awareness and tapping into our innate human potential.
