For 30+ years the Universal Tao Boston has held classes in Chi Kung, Meditation, Tai Chi and ancient healing techniques in the Boston area.
Through the years countless students have come through our doors to learn to cultivate their life force energy for a strong, healthy and conscious life.
Marie is the Founder and Director of the Universal Tao Boston. Marie has consistently and compassionately met students where they are to teach them practices to get them where they want to go.
Taoist meditation is a really down-to-earth practice. The focus is on generating, transforming and circulating energy. Once this energy is developed and refined one can use it for healing, creativity or delving into deeper meditation practices.
Tai Chi is a relaxed moving meditation and martial art which calms the body and mind. At BHT we teach Yang Style.
Chi Kung practice increases your Chi, flow and brings a sense of calm and centeredness. Here is a short list of some of the chi kung forms we teach:
Practicing is the only way to develop and improve your skill. We'll hold the space for your commitment with support and guidance for 100 Days straight. This is a challenge and not to be taken lightly! That said, we approach our daily practice with great joy in a caring community with consultation if needed. We'll even help you design a personal practice focused on your goals.
The Alexander Technique is a tool for transformation, a 'way' for making changes to better your life. Improvements are noted:
Chi Nei Tsang is a healing technique that detoxifies, regenerates and balances each one of the human body’s vital functions. CNT brings greater circulation and balance to the abdomen, the 'Lower Tan Tien'. Chi Nei Tsang is a method to clear blocked energy or stagnant chi to clear body, mind and spirit.

Exploring Yin Taoist Meditation and Qigong for Women
August 30–September 2, 2019 Friday-Monday: 3 nights
For women; no experience needed.
Taoism contains an important tradition of female mastery that is inherent in its philosophy and practices. Women represent the cosmic force of yin, while men represent its yang counterpart. Together, these forces create the whole and keep each other in balance. The harmonious relationship between yin and yang is essential for good health and the stabilization of life-force energy, personally as well as in society. Women occupy a unique position in today’s world, stepping up and finding their voices and expression, strengthening yin in an overly yang world.
Whether you are new to Taoism or are a seasoned practitioner, join faculty from the historic Immortal Sisters Conference and learn
Return to your life grounded in yin and feeling renewed, refreshed, and strengthened.
